Welcome to your FREE guide to Medicine Park, the Wichita Mountains Scenic Byway and the newest trend in magazine publishing. With today's printing, paper, ink and fuel cost, we are like countless other publishers of large and small magazines and newspapers - and have chosen to produce and offer our publication available only online. Our exciting new publication is 100% an online e-magazine.

On this page, you'll find samples of articles featured in our full 3D issue of the Cobblestone Gazette E-Magazine.  Each semi-annual issue contains numerous feature articles of local interest, loads of history, and articles about select local lodging, businesses, food & beverage establishments, real estate, the arts, entertainment and more. The 3D e-magazine's table of contents is set up by category.  You can easily navigate with a simple mouse click.

Our intent is to serve as a semi-annual "users manual" to the area known as The Wichita Mountains Scenic Byway. We are a useful guide for visitors, residents, business owners, newcomers and people who have a current and future interest the  Wichita Mountains area.

We present our publication through the use of state-of-the-art digital 3D flip-page publishing. This new technology digitally simulates the reading experience of printed publications. The magazine is displayed on your computer screen just like a real magazine. You flip turn thru the pages just as you would a printed magazine - but you use your mouse or the embedded page turning icons. The  E-Magazine is best viewed with 1024 X 786 or higher resolutions. Give it a try - we know you'll enjoy our efforts.

We will publish the online e-magazine in October each year as a fall/winter edition, then again in April as a spring and summer edition.  Please tell your friends.

Everything the Kiowas had came from the buffalo. Their tipis were made of buffalo hides; as were their clothes and moccasins. They ate buffalo meat. Their containers were made of hide, bladders or stomachs. The buffalo were the essence of life of the Kiowa Indians. However, the buffalo were being slaughtered by the white man at an alarming rate. The buffalo themselves knew the end of their days were coming. So they decided to do something about it before it was too late.
